Our story started in Long Island, New York. James Natural’s was founded with the desire to reduce waste in restaurants and to give our pets a healthy, natural treat. You can shop our treats at Syosset Seafood, a family-owned business in the seafood business. Often when salmon is served to customers, the salmon skins are removed and discarded. This is when the idea for making Salmon Stix came to life. Salmon Stix was the perfect solution to reducing unnecessary waste and giving our pets a one-of-kind treat.

Once the salmon skins are removed, the skins are rolled up, and are hand placed in a dehydrator. The salmon pet treats are made in small batches in a human grade facility to ensure the highest quality pet treat. Our salmon treats do not use preservatives, artificial dies or colors, and only have one ingredient – Salmon Skins. Dehydrated food retains the original nutritional value and naturally stays fresh for five years or more. What more could you want? After the treats are finished, they are safely stored and individually packaged with each and every order.
Sustainably Sourced Salmon
We ethically source all of our Salmon. Our Salmon is sourced from the abundant waters of Norway, Scotland, and New Zealand. Of course, we do not support GMOs, over-fishing, and dangerous fishing practices. James Naturals is a small family-owned business that cares about the planet as much as we do our pets.
